Where is my data kept?
On your iPhone only. There is no account and no cloud, so nothing syncs between devices and nobody else can see your pets. See the privacy policy for the detail.
A reminder didn't arrive
Check three things. In Settings inside the app, the Reminders switch needs to be on. In iOS Settings, under Pet Routine Tracker, then Notifications, notifications need to be allowed. And the routine itself needs a set time with Remind me turned on. Routines set to “any time” never send reminders, by design.
I tapped a reminder and nothing happened
Tapping a reminder should open that routine's actions on the Today screen. If the routine was deleted after the reminder was scheduled, the app will tell you it is no longer available. Make sure you are on the latest version.
How do I back up my data?
In Settings, Export backup creates a readable file with your pets, routines and history, then hands it to the iOS share sheet so you can save it to Files, email it to yourself, or store it wherever you like.
What happens if I delete the app?
Its data goes with it. Because nothing is stored anywhere else, that data cannot be recovered, so export a backup first if you might want it later.
Can I undo a completed routine?
Yes. Tap Undo in the message that appears straight after completing it, or open the routine and choose Undo completion. You can also correct the time or add a note later from History.
What happens to a pet I archive?
They are hidden from Today and their routines pause, but nothing is deleted. Restoring them brings their routines back exactly as they were.
