Kids' Chore Adventure does not collect any personal information.
Nothing. There is no account to create, no email address to give, and no sign-up of any kind.
Everything you enter — your children's names, their chosen characters, the missions you create, the stars they earn and their progress — is stored only on your iPhone or iPad. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. The only network connection the app makes is to Apple's App Store when you view or buy the optional Family Pass (see below).
Deleting the app deletes this information permanently. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
The app is free for one child. An optional one-time in-app purchase, the Family Pass, unlocks unlimited children. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We never see your name, payment details or Apple ID. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy. The app stores only a single yes/no flag on your device recording that the pass is unlocked. The purchase screen is only reachable in Parent Mode, behind the parental gate, and is never shown to a child.
This app is designed for families and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code. Because no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children. There is no messaging, no social feature, no user profile visible to anyone else, and no way for a child to contact a stranger through this app.
If this ever changes, we will update this page and the date above. Any version of the app that begins collecting data would say so clearly before doing it.
